Haha...to those of you that know, you'll understand right away.
To those of you that don't.
My mother passed away from Leukemia when I was 3 years old.
I still have memories of her from a little while before she passed on.
three memories to be exact, and very short ones at that.

But today, I had my ups and downs, so it was okay overall.

I woke up this morning to tell my grandma about a dream I had had this morning, where I was walking through some peoples back yards with her and my grandpa, and some guy jumped on my grandma's back to try and attack her, and I whipped them down and beat the living crap out of them. Actually a nice dream. She got a good laugh about that, with a 'see, even though I give you a hard time, you still protect me.'
Even though it was just a dream.
I'd do it in real life though.

Then, we went to get flowers for my mother's grave.
I was a little emotional, rested my head on top of my Cat and petted her back for a bit in the living-room and my eyes watered, but I was okay, and we went to leave.
My grandpa goes out the porch door, and closes it.
I walk towards it a little while after, looking down, still a little cloudy headed.
There's a thump.
I walked right into the glass door, thinking it was open.
That was the joke of the day, I even laughed at myself, I'm a klutzy idiot. Hee.

So we get in the car and leave, pick up some pretty yellow Carnations I picked out.
Grammy said yellow was one of my mother's favorite colors.
I smiled.

We drove to Greenwood cemetery, and we go see my mother's grave, and I cut the ends of the flowers and put them into the little built in vase on her heart-shaped grave.
And despite being a little lacking in religion, I gave a little prayer to her.
Not the hail Mary or anything, but a simple 'Hi mom, I miss you, happy mother's day, I've been...' etc.
I cried a little, and grandma held me and rubbed my head, I miss her a lot.
It's been thirteen years.

But we head home, and then I got my stuff together and we headed down to my great grandma's from my grandpa's side.
It was nice, most of the family went, to my great grandmother's surprise, and she was happy.
And I got to see my new Baby Cousin Ava. ^ ^
She's only 5 weeks old, she looks just like her mommy, and she cooed at me.
I love babies.
I love children in general.

And so, we head home a few hours later after a nice meal and such, and I've just finished a commission for my best friend, and I feel much better now. :3

I also bought some pretty pink Carnations and brought them over to my mentor Eileen's house, her son died in a drunk driving accident about 4 years ago, her only son.
Eileen is like my mother, so I enjoyed bringing her something, and she appreciated.
She cut and dyed her hair.
It looks so cute.

So overall, a little teary-eyed while typing this, but nonetheless, I'm fine.
Just felt like getting some things out!

I love you guys, and, love your mother's well guys, if you have them. They think of you all the time, as I think of my own all the time.
